Me, my hubby and 16 month old daughter are looking for a year exchange from Melbourne Australia to Coventry England to spend some time with our families. We are not looking for a big property but 2-3 bedrooms would be great and a car swap too would be really useful. Possible dates for swapping would be mid to late 2011 for about a year or so. About our home

Large 4 bed and 2 bath family friendly home with large deck area perfect for that Australian BBQ, grassed area for the kids to play and a veggie patch out the back door. Our daughters room has a cot and there are two further bedrooms, 1 with queen bed and one with a sofa bed and a master bedroom with en suite. We have an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area and a separate family room/kids play room. Separate laundry room and double garage.

The area is new with a purpose built town centre within walking distance and has local restaurants and plenty of shops. 10 min's drive to the local beach, 45 min's to the Great Ocean Road with its spectacular views and 25 minutes drive to the centre of Melbourne. Lots of good local schools, parks and wetlands. Good neighbours and quite a quiet area with good access to the free-way 5 minutes away.

Other comments

We are looking at exchanging for a year so we can spend time with our families. We have not yet set any dates but possible starting from mid to late 2011. Our home is well maintained and we will treat your home with respect and leave it as we would want to find ours. Happy to swap cars too. As we are new to house swapping then we may also be interested in a holiday swap to other areas of Australia/NZ, particularly Tasmania March 2011.
