Richard is retired Public Health Inspector patiently waiting for Joan (Registered Nurse) to retire in January 2011. Then we plan to see the world using home exchanges! We both enjoy golfing, hiking, and of course travelling! We are involved at our local Baptist Church. Our daughter and son are both married and we have 5 wonderful grand-daughters.

About our home

Our home has a suite on the main floor (level entry) comprising a huge bedroom, bathroom with a shower and shared laundry, kitchen/living room and private entry. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The green room has a double bed and the pink room has a single. These rooms share a 3 piece bathroom with a tub. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and 4 piece ensuite. The family room,eating area and kitchen share a gas fire place and open on to two decks. The formal dining room and living room share a another gas fire place. Total living area is 2600 square feet.

    We live in a quiet neighbourhood less than a block from a bus stop, a 4 minute drive to our recreation complex consisting of a swimming pool, wave pool, huge hot tub, sauna, steam room, exercise room and two water slides, a 10 minute drive to our international airport, 45 minute drive to Mount Washington Ski Resort, and a one hour drive to our Strathcona National Park.
